MANAGEMENT TEAM
Thushera is a technology leader and tech aficionado with over 27 years of experience in software product development and consulting for world-class global enterprises. He is a trailblazer in many IT initiatives at the global industry level on software reuse, engineering productivity & software sizing, and architecture governance & best practices, with extensive experience as the architect of over 100 software projects across the globe, including for Fortune 500 enterprises.
Before ADL, he spent over 19 years at Virtusa Corporation where he played the role of Chief Software Architect, and was responsible for software architecture standards, governance, capability development, and R&D and was a practice head role responsible for building a scalable organization. Adding to that, Thushera has served in key technical leadership roles for 2 startup companies.
He assumed the role of a Board Member on the Academic Committee at the University of Moratuwa – BIT for CODL, where he also served as a Board Member with the Computer Society of Sri Lanka from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, he took on responsibilities as a committee member within the Parliamentary Select Committee tasked with defining AI standards in Sri Lanka. Presently, he holds membership in the Advisory Board of the Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Company (SLASSCOM) Technology forum and is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council.
